Process Engineer II – Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Production Floor Activities: Take charge of production floor-based activities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with GMP standards.
  • Execute Validation Activities: Plan and execute commissioning and qualification (C&Q), validation activities, and process development studies as needed.
  • Technical Support for NPI: Serve as a technical support resource for new product introduction (NPI) and commercial manufacturing, including participation in cross-functional teams and vendor liaisons.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Six Sigma methodologies, root cause analysis, and active participation in projects.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a Science or Engineering field.
  • Manufacturing Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in process/Manufacturing engineering, preferably in a GMP setting.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Irish, European, and International regulatory requirements, codes, standards, and practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Education:

  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Work Experience: Prior relevant work experience, particularly in manufacturing, is highly desirable, with a preference for GMP experience.
  • Validation Expertise: Proficiency in equipment and process validation, including sterile filling processes and equipment.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications.
