Job Specification - Senior E&I Maintenance Technician

As a Senior E&I Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Maintenance Lead and be tasked with the responsibility of maintaining and diagnosing issues with process devices, instrumentation, and controls critical to vaccine manufacturing. Your primary goal will be to ensure the successful attainment of objectives, in strict alignment with company standards, to guarantee compliance, safety, and a dependable supply for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Proficiently maintain and troubleshoot process devices, instrumentation, and controls within the context of vaccine manufacturing, ensuring strict adherence to compliance, safety, and consistent operational reliability.

Equipment Operation and Cleaning: Execute the operation and cleaning of process equipment as required to meet production needs.

Preventative Maintenance: Carry out continuous preventative maintenance activities, equipment troubleshooting, and repairs, with a strong emphasis on Total Productive Maintenance, to secure the uninterrupted performance of equipment.

Shutdown Management: Efficiently plan and manage equipment shutdowns, optimizing resource allocation to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.

Experience:

Qualifications: Hold a certification from a time-served E&I Apprenticeship or possess an equivalent Certificate/Diploma in Engineering or a closely related field.

Pharmaceutical Experience: Showcase a proven track record of working within a regulated pharmaceutical production environment, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Hands-on Expertise: Demonstrate extensive hands-on experience encompassing both preventive and reactive maintenance, reflecting a profound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic processes.

Technical Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant job-related computer applications, underpinned by excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical information.
