A Day in The Life Of
- Your role will be marked by a constant flow of new and exciting opportunities. You'll engage in critical problem-solving, focusing on manufacturability issues in healthcare devices, encompassing both mechanical and electronic domains, and find ways to advance process technology more rapidly than others.
- As a member of our team, you'll actively engage in all aspects of new product development, including process design, technology advancement, automation, vendor and sub-tier supplier management, and project management.
- You'll explore technological solutions, collaborate with team members on Design, Reliability & Manufacturability methodology (DRM), employ 3-D printing and Augmented Reality to craft innovative solutions for manufacturing devices that can positively impact the healthcare of millions.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to define, execute, and deliver on New Product Development requirements. You'll be encouraged to take initiative, lead teams to innovate, and develop state-of-the-art process technology with a strong emphasis on enhancing quality, reducing variation, and building cutting-edge automated and semi-automated systems.
- You'll also take the lead in supporting process development, characterization, and validation activities that underpin the introduction of new products.
- Identifying and implementing practical actions to address technical challenges will call upon your project management skills, Six Sigma tools, process characterization, and technology development expertise.
- Your findings will be documented, and you'll present them to project and functional teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or higher) in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a highly skilled team and proactively engage in cross-functional teamwork.
- Sound comprehension of product and process design.
- Proficiency in both oral and written communication, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, adept presentation capabilities, and solid project management skills.
