Our client in Tullamore is looking for a motivated, results driven professional who is starting out on their HR career path.

The HR and Recruitment Assistant will be responsible for supporting the 3 AST Sites in Galway, Tullamore and Westport. They successful candidate will oversee the recruitment process as an end to end process and work closely alongside the HR Advisor on a day to day basis.

Duties:

• End-to-end recruitment responsibility inclusive of advertising, shortlisting and interviewing.
• Conducting all pre-employment checks inclusive of all reference checking.
• Arrange pre employment medicals with the company doctors located across Ireland
• Issue offers of employment and contracts of employment.
• Create and update all staff personnel files.
• Maintains personnel files with applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to staff.
• Ad-hoc HR project work as required
• Administration support across the HR Department

Experience and Skills:

• Experience  with  SAP Success Factors would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 1 years recruitment experience.
• Strong focus on servicing each customer, ensuring their expectations are met, providing solutions that meet their needs
• Solid work ethic, goal-driven, creative problem solver
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
