POSITION: Business Analyst
Our esteemed medical device client in Limerick is currently seeking a dedicated analytical Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will have a robust background in data analysis, proficiency in MS SQL, and significant experience in the manufacturing sector. If you are adept at utilizing Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI, to derive actionable insights from intricate datasets, and you thrive on contributing to data-driven decision-making and process improvement initiatives, we invite you to apply.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data pertinent to manufacturing operations.
- Develop and manage SQL queries and scripts for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources, including ERP systems.
- Establish and sustain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI for monitoring performance and conducting trend analysis.
Manufacturing Sector Expertise:
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing sector to identify operational inefficiencies, propose process enhancements, and optimize resource allocation.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, integrating this knowledge to enhance our operations.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to articulate and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with data-driven decision-making objectives.
- Translate intricate business needs into technical specifications and data models.
- Minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably in Engineering, Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a business analyst role.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
