Our Client, a leading Supplier of Process Solutions to the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industry are hiring for experienced Welders and Pipefitters to ensure that all contracted deliverables are delivered to cost, time and quality whilst ensuring that all risks are measured and managed effectively. The role requires proficiency in working with carbon and stainless steel, as well as expertise in Stick Welding, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.

The Welders /Pipefitters will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of projects within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

In this role you will work alongside the Depart Lead Manager, and will ensure that the Project order to fulfillment lifecycle is executed as optimally as possible whilst delivering a World Class Customer Experience.

In this job you will :

  • Perform welding and pipefitting tasks according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Work with various materials, including carbon and stainless steel, to fabricate and assemble piping systems.
  • Utilize Stick Welding, MIG, and TIG welding techniques proficiently to achieve high-quality welds.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify weld quality, integrity, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to optimize workflow and meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Knowledge and Skills :

  • Trade qualification
  • Proven experience as a Welder Pipefitter, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proficiency in Stick Welding, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to work with carbon and stainless steel effectively.
  • Strong understanding of welding principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety practices and regulations.
