A supplier of vital equipment and services to the Healthcare sector is currently seeking a Qualified Electrician for their team.

In this full time, permanent role you will provide Installation and Maintenance services to their clients. This role is a Monday to Friday, Days position and field based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Diagnose electrical problems and develop effective solutions to resolve them.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with electrical codes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
  • Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Valid Electrician License issued by a recognized authority in Ireland.
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical documents.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and regulations in Ireland.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.

Education:

  • Electrical Certificate by recognised body RECI / Safe Elctric or equivalent.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work.
  • Additional certifications or courses in electrical engineering or related fields are a plus.
