Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Impact: Support the delivery of innovative diagnostic tests to laboratories worldwide, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
  • Operational Leadership: Establish and achieve operational objectives, delegating assignments effectively to ensure smooth workflow and optimal resource utilisation.
  • Strategic Forecasting: Accurately forecast staffing needs across the assigned function, ensuring alignment with operational demands.
  • Budget Management: Review and monitor operating budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Tactical Planning: Lead the function’s involvement in the tactical planning process, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Problem-Solving Expertise: Utilise technical expertise to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions, enhancing key performance metrics and meeting quality system requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Relevant bachelor’s degree (Level 8) with 9+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 7+ years of experience.
  • Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams, fostering a dedicated team culture across functions.
  • Quality Systems Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Systems, with proven experience in engaging with auditors to ensure compliance and excellence. Desirable Qualifications:
  • People Leadership: Over 3 years of experience in leading teams, with a focus on achieving high performance and meeting departmental KPIs.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Blood Virus and Immunoassay products, contributing to informed decision-making and technical guidance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Strong critical thinking skills, with a background in continuous improvement and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Experience with CGMP, ISO/FDA requirements, ensuring operations meet industry standards and regulations.
