A Day in The Life:
In this role, you will continuously encounter new and exciting opportunities, driving innovative solutions in product and process design. You will:
Innovate: Identify and pursue continuous improvement opportunities by critically analysing manufacturing and supply challenges.
Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, execute, and deliver project requirements, actively participating in product development and management.
Lead: Take the initiative to lead teams in solving complex problems and executing key processes and systems, using your expertise in project management, lean sigma, and process development.
Develop: Drive process development, characterisation, and validation activities for commercial product changes, ensuring all learnings are documented and shared.
Communicate: Ensure effective stakeholder management by establishing clear communication and governance processes.
Key Skills & Experience:
Educational Background:
A Third Level 8 Degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline is essential.
Product & Process Design: Demonstrated expertise in product and process design, with a strong understanding of the technical aspects.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within talented teams, collaborating proactively with cross-functional groups.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in lean/six sigma tools and methodologies.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational, presentation, and project management capabilities, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
Work Location: This position is based onsite in Galway, with occasional flexibility to work from home as needed.
