As a Value Stream Lead, you will ensure the quality and efficiency of manufacturing operations, lead a high-performing team, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performance Management: Collaborate with planners and leads to optimize production, achieving high utilization, yield, and cost efficiency.
- Quality Control: Guide production teams to meet manufacturing goals and address non-conformances through statistical process control (SPC).
- Team Leadership: Oversee training, development, and performance reviews of technicians and operators; manage talent and succession planning.
- Safety & Security: Ensure safety in the production area, conducting regular line safety inspections.
- Problem Solving: Make decisions on quality, processing, and automation issues, coordinating with engineers as needed.
- Communication: Analyze and share performance metrics; ensure clear communication of production schedules and quality requirements.
- Resource Management: Manage materials, equipment, and resources; coordinate product, process, and automation changes.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain production methods and documentation to meet ISO standards and adhere to all corporate and site safety requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain 6-S standards and ensure proper training for technicians and operators.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Plastic or Mechanical Engineering or relevant industrial experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to develop talent.
- Experience in injection molding is desirable.
- Knowledge of robots, automation systems, and molding equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing a diverse team.
- Strong task prioritization, numeracy, and budget management abilities.
