Facilities Engineer

The Facilities Engineer will maintain critical equipment and infrastructure, plan and implement improvement projects, and manage energy-saving initiatives. Responsibilities include managing contractors and collaborating with teams across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and oversee critical systems (cleanrooms, HVAC, gas, fire alarms, security, etc.).
• Manage facility projects within timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
• Identify facility improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage work requests, preventative maintenance, and auditable records.
• Liaise with vendors and monitor systems via the BMS.
• Drive energy management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent/apprenticeship.
• 3+ years in medical device/pharma industry.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, IT, and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility for out-of-hours work.
