Our client, an industry leader in automation based in Carlow, are currently looking to recruit for an Area Sales Manager to cover the North, East, West & Midlands Regions.
? Alongside the Key Account Managers; devise, implement and communicate the Commercial channels strategic plans. Assume full accountability for the formulation and implementation of sales and trading plans for all accounts.
? Fully responsible for developing & implementing an end to end communications plan for all channels relating to sales targets, performance, measurement, monitoring & corrective planning. This will range from daily communications, monthly/quarterly review sessions to annual planning / conference.
? Build an effective & collaborative working relationship with all internal stakeholders with a stronger focus on the relationship inputs/outputs and engagement with the Country Manager.
? Working with colleagues in Finance, HR, Marketing, Warehouse & Sales, to ensure the appropriate compensation plans are in place - matching reward to performance for all relevant KPI`s.
? Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all clients alongside the sales team team; through relevant and regular engagement/communications which solidify their confidence and loyalty to company and deliver/exceed KPIs.
? Driving compliance with all internal policies and guidelines including audit, H&S; as well as all external regulatory and legal requirements. ? Understand the competitor activities within your region. Proactively feed information to CRM & identify support or implement changes required.
? Seek and manage all feedback/escalation.
? 4 years` experience in Business Development Management ? Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills
? A proven record as a team player working on projects/developments
? Excellent commercial acumen, with an understanding of the Industrial industry
? Experience in the engineering field is an advantage
? Strategic thinker and analytical in execution
? Ability to develop solid, trustful and lasting relationships quickly
