Automation Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support design of new automation system infrastructure for client projects
• Install, configure and maintain new / existing automation infrastructure systems and applications, including configuration of virtual environments
• Assist with the implementation of new/upgraded systems and/or virtualization
• Implement IT standards and procedures in line with industry trends
• Develop and update SDLC documentation for automation systems (RS, SDS, HDS, Test Protocols, etc)
• Perform Qualification testing on new / existing systems
• Assist in Disaster Recovery Planning and testing
• Assist in the Design and build backup and recovery solutions for automation systems

Requirements

• Third level qualification in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience working with Hyper-V, VMWare, Dell VRTX preferred
• Knowledge of Emerson DeltaV or PLC/SCADA systems
• Knowledge of IO Subsystem Hardware, and DCS Networking desirable
• IT Security/cybersecurity experience desirable
• IT BackUp & Disaster Recovery experience desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Server , Microsoft Windows 7/10) with knowledge of Active Directory is a plus
• Experience working in a GMP environment and adhering to Good Documentation Practice
