Bus Refurbishment Supervisor
Our client in Kildare are currently looking to recruit a Bus Refurbishment Supervisor for their site.

Job Purpose:
  • To provide excellent customer service and deliver high quality maintenance and repairs to PSV’s as part of the Refurbishment Project
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Allocate jobs to project team members matching relevant skill sets and indicating the time allowed to complete the work
  • Monitor job progress and the quality of work output of project team members
  • Maintain high levels of labour utilisation and efficiency and ensure that all staff are clocked onto the vehicle on which they are working
  • Ensure project team members work within agreed time lines as per the contract with our customer
  • Support and troubleshoot operatives with technical repair queries
  • Carry out road testing and quality control inspections as required
  • Manage and approve all job related paperwork in line with company standards
  • Ensure high quality and frequency of communication with the Bus Key Accounts Manager and Service Manager regarding the project and any concerns
  • Ensure approval has been sought from the Customer before additional work outside of the allocated project begins
  • Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, setting the standard for technicians, coach builders / body specialists and general operatives
  • Adhere to Company policies & correct working procedures, reporting any errors, faulty equipment, safety issues, accidents, incidents or near misses promptly to the H&S Officer &/or Management
  • Monitor performance and work standards of technicians, body specialists & general operatives
  • Comply with and enforce Company Policies
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the workshop
  • Identify training requirements for the project team
  • Participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company
  • Undertake any other duties or activities as required
Skills Profile:
  • 5 years post apprenticeship experience required
  • HGV/PSV Technical qualification / experience
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints
  • PSV licence an advantage
