Company Overview

Our client is recruiting a Clerical Officer to carry out a range of HR/Recruitment functions in a busy HR Department in the Health Service in Mayo.

  • Focusing on recruitment, internal/external competition
  • Arranging and where necessary, sitting in on panel interviews
  • Consistently ensuring all applicants receive feedback
  • Managing all documents related to the recruitment process and all other HR functions
  • Ensuring the completion of background checks/Garda vetting for all new starters
  • Operating in line with strict policies and procedures in a professional and confidential manner
  • Updating the internal HR system

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years? experience in a HR/Recruitment role
  • Third level qualification in HR or similar relevant area is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the Health sector is an advantage
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with HR software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise efficiently in order to meet deadlines
  • Customer focused with an emphasis on dignity and confidentiality
