Engineering Manager Location Donegal Summary:

A great opportunity to take on the role of Engineering Manager with a leading healthcare manufacturing company with state of the art facilities in Donegal.

You will lead teams to support manufacturing product performance and yields through expertise in equipment, testing and processes.

Major Responsibilities

• Create & lead complex projects, generate plans, managing the associated cost and time constraints.
• Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks and conducting ongoing performance reviews.
• Interacts with internal customers to provide 2-way feedback on product, process and testing issues.
• Interprets and executes policies that affect work processes and personnel within the assigned organisational unit.
• Monitors compliance with company policies and procedures (example (e.g.) compliance with Food and Drug Administration (FDA), British Standards Institution (BSI), relevant employment law etcetera (etc.)
• Leads teams to generate and execute validation protocols, trials/ studies and create associated reports for equipment, test methods, processes and materials.
• Works under limited supervision. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Education & Experience

• Third Level Qualification in Science/Engineering or Manufacturing.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a life sciences industry preferred
