Equipment Engineering Project Manager / Engineer Role

Contract Role – 12 Months

Overview

Our Galway based Medical Device Client has a very vibrant and impressive Equipment Engineering department. Their Vision is to “Enhance lives through Innovative solutions”. Their purpose is to deliver optimum equipment systems and services to the site which in turn is used to manufacture our life saving devices.

The Equipment Engineering department has a strong team of project managers. They work across the site on a portfolio of projects. They drive strong engagement and collaboration in cross functional teams and follow the PMP methodology to provide rigor and value add.

The role is Hybrid with 3 days onsite per week (Flexible).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project management skills to meet business goals and objectives for medical device equipment engineering projects. 
• Builds collaborative relationships through strong teamwork across the organization.
• In addition, lead / work on small projects to improve the project management process with our team.

Key skills

• Level 8 qualification.
• Experience leading and delivering a breadth of projects using project management methodology.
• Project management certification preferred but not required as training can be provided once aptitude is there.
• Candidate to have strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships within project teams.
• Experience with equipment/software development and validation is an advantage Medical device experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
