Field Service Engineer

Our client, an IT company in Galway are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer
for their site. They support the needs of pharmaceutical companies. The role will manage issues that customers have before, during and after installation of machinery and equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

You will support installation and maintenance of all machinery. You will support validation and all machine related activities to include FAT and SAT, you will be responsible for machine components (mechanic, electronic and software)

The Field Service Engineer is the person in charge to:
  • Test the solutions next to the customers;
  • Perform and fulfil the validation procedures;
  • Register the requirements of the customer during the F.A.T. and the S.A.T.;
  • Install the solutions on the site of the customer;
  • Train the customer operators on the site.

Execute the F.A.T. procedures next to the customer according to the validation procedures;
  • Draft all the quality documentation;
  • Execute the testing procedures during the S.A.T.;
  • Train the customer on the plant.

  • Learn all the Functional Specification of the solution to configure the recipes on the machines;
  • Configure the machine with all the Formats required;
  • Verify all the documentation needed to execute the Validation Procedures (F.A.T. protocol);
  • Ensure that all the equipment and the controls are compliant with client specifications.

  • Perform the FAT protocol;
  • Collect Customer eventual requirements, fulfilling the punch list;
  • Register eventual malfunctions in the punch list;
  • Report the punch list to the After Sales Technician and to the P.M.;

  • Perform the SAT procedures;
  • Execute Validation Protocols IQ and OQ during the S.A.T.;
  • Collect Customer eventual requirements, fulfilling the punch list;
  • Register eventual malfunctions in the punch list;
  • Train customer operators for the setting up of the machines.

Minimal Requirements
  • Technical Diploma – I.T./Electronic Optimal Requirements
  • Electronic Eng. / Computer Science Degree /Automation Eng.
