Graphic Designer

Our client, a medical device company in Galway are currently looking to recruit a Graphic Designer for their site on a fixed term contract

The Role:
We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join us on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
What’s important:
  • Proven experience in Creative design for all channels
  • Proven experience in Digital Design
  • A good understanding of web technologies and design
  • Fully trained and certified in the latest design software;
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Indesign
  • MS Office for Mac
  • A strong Portfolio demonstrating your experience

The day to day:
  • Ideation and development of story led creative for brand strategy, campaign launches and product promotion
  • Design content for web and social media campaigns – info graphics, animated gifs, motion graphics, rich-media banner ads, website/microsite design
  • Graphic design for product communications, logo design, brand identity, presentations, advertising, point of sale material and company websites
  • Responsible for the creative design of high quality product and promotional material for all new product literature; packaging, labels, catalogues etc.
  • Ownership of establishing requirements in relation to the updating of all existing literature, packaging, labels etc; devising schedules and timelines, preparing technical specifications, ensuring all printed material is in compliance with regulatory requirements and responsible for vendor management of 3rd party printers to ensure on-time delivery

Where you’ve come from:
You should have a minimum 2 year’s work experience as a Graphic Designer in a relevant consumer focussed industry; such as, Consumer Goods, Wearable Technology, Health/Wellness, Fitness equipment.
