Planning Analyst
Our client, a medical device company in Galway are currently looking to recruit a Planning Analyst
for their site.
Major Functions / Objectives
  • Implement S&OP process in the organization and continue to improve the EME & Asia Pac supply chain effectiveness:
  • Strengthen the Forecasting process for OUS territories including emerging markets
  • Demand reviews in place with key Demand sites
  • Supply reviews in place with key Supply sites
  • New product introduction process review and improvement (team)
  • Communication and management of product availability and supply interruptions
  • The organization?s re-branding project ? manage materials with Supply sites & key team contact for bar code implementation project, ongoing
  • Improve inter-company planning process ongoing
  • Development and Maintenance of existing tolling environments and development of new tolling environments
  • Work with organization wide S&OP process team
Technical Skills
  • Toll Manufacturing experience is a distinct advantage
  • Highly competent in forecasting & planning
  • SAP user experience is desirable
  • Demand Solutions forecasting application expert user Advanced Excel user
  • Understanding of company products (basic) and supply chains (develop thorough)
  • Qualified (or working towards) to APICS CSCP (certified supply chain professional) level
Team Skills
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal across cultures)
  • Highly numerate with an aptitude for analysis
  • Strong project management skills
Long Term Strategic Planning
  • Continual improvement of global supply management process to meet the changing requirements of the organization as it develops
  • Identification of systemic improvements to the supply management processes
Environment / Culture
  • Self-motivated culture with high standards of detailed output required
  • Reactive & flexible to current issues while driving the long term supply management process.
  • Proactively work with the manager and team to implement improvements to the Planning process
  • Willingness to identify where getting involved can add value, even if outside current comfort zone.
Basic Requirements
  • 5+ years? experience in related Supply Chain areas.
  • Qualified (or working towards) APICS CSCP (certified supply chain professional) level
  • Excellent IT skills
  • In order to interact with sites on different time zones occasional out of hours working required
