Our client, a medical device company in Cork are currently looking to recruit a for their site on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:
The Project Leader is responsible for leading global organizational change and transformation initiatives to enable and drive a high performing business culture.

Reporting directly to Innovation Engineering Manager, the purpose of this role is to lead and deliver EST Engineering organizational change and talent management strategy to enable and drive Vision 2020.

This role provides strategic and tactical leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced, and agile work environment focused on aligning human capital with business initiatives and strategic company goals. The Project Leader will lead culture transformation initiatives and projects geared towards improving business results that will include talent management and talent. This role will focus on improving business results through changes to processes, systems, structure and culture.


Talent Development
Leading the talent management strategy across the global engineering organisation.
• Provide talent management and organizational development expertise to internal partners, leading “brainstorming” discussion and assessment of talent gaps and opportunities; identifies and proposes talent solutions to meet those gaps and advance results.
• Delivers workforce planning framework and the development of critical talent.
• Supports teamwork and staff development through a commitment to mentoring and technical leadership
• Management of key programs, design and delivery of the Diversity & Inclusion agenda.
• Assist with identifying appropriate developmental tools and resources.
• Conduct talent-related research and analytics, including ad-hoc survey design, employee metrics/research, and support.


Organisation Management

Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications and recommend controls by identifying problems; writing and improving procedures
• Develop and update communication tools.
• Conducts organizational assessments and diagnostics to uncover trends and insights, identify causes of organizational issues, and generate recommendations for improving organizational performance.
• Responsible for utilizing tools to assess team member culture, including survey project management, action planning, communications analyses, and creating/delivering executive summaries Champions the desired culture, including but not limited to diversity and inclusion by modeling and embedding positive, inclusive behaviours in every aspect of his/her work.
• Partner with the Learning Team with the communication and roll-out of change management initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement on “Best in Class” Business Systems, utilizing an external benchmarking processes
• Consults with leaders and human resource partners to continuously improve on design, redesign/restructure and alignment of organizational structures and business processes with strategy.

Program & Portfolio Management
Support high performing Project Management Leaders through process and system training and improvements in the management of business processes e.g. Virtual Teams.
• Lead portfolio/governance-related process & metric standardization, development & documentation - includes project governance, business process integration, resource activity measures and project KPIs etc.
• Lead Standardized processes, well-defined portfolio measures and steadfast documentation adding value.
• Management and Deployment of Engineering Excellence Strategy providing overall governance & strategic alignment

Experience

5+ years’ experience in Organizational Development or a related Discipline and a Degree in Science, Engineering or a related Discipline
• Proven success designing, implementing, and executing talent development strategies and programs in areas of talent reviews, coaching, succession planning, senior leadership development, and performance management
• Strong knowledge of a variety of change management principles, practices, processes and techniques. Ability to design facilitation processes and understanding of inherent group dynamics
• Strong expertise and experience in job and organizational design
• Track record must clearly demonstrate true strategic capability, i.e. Generate a change approach that drives the desired strategic intent
• Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, influencing, and communication skills and the ability to Embraces creativity, innovative ideas, and innovation
• Outstanding presence and communication skills, able to inspire trust and quickly build credibility Must have strong collaboration and influence skills
• Excellent intellect, strategic and tactical thinking ability, complemented by a “hands-on” operational and business planning orientation.
• Accountability, with a powerful desire to commit, be held accountable and be rewarded for delivering results. Recognizes and builds support for change.
• Moral and personal integrity and the values that inspire trust in the organization.
