Job Purpose

The successful candidate will carry out lab testing to ensure product performance to specification

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Carry out lab testing to ensure all Production lots are within defined specifications

• Ensure incoming substrates are within quality acceptance criteria and are suitable for processing

• Ensure all solutions meet acceptable standards

• Conduct statistical analysis on laboratory results in order to identify parameter trends, customer trends etc.

• Monitor key laboratory performance measurables in order to ensure customer satisfaction e.g. meeting agreed turnaround times

• Process support and troubleshooting

• New product validation testing and reporting

• Laboratory instrument maintenance and calibration

• Rx surfacing of test lenses

Key Requirements (Education and Experience)

• Science Qualification an advantage

• Good IT skills, working knowledge of Microsoft office

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing process

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• Proven ability to work in a team environment

• Good problem solving skills
