Quality Logistics Specialist

Logistics and Quality Specialist

This role is related to quality, logistics and for instance cool chains or packaging. Also if you have knowledge or certifications in ISO-standards.

There is also an aspect of packaging – That packaging is living up to regulatory requirements that guarantee the quality and valid use of the products. Also a knowledge around cold chain e.g. temperature is kept within a certain interval if that is required (for cool chains).

– Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics or Data analytics;
– APICS certification is a nice to have;
– ISO education is a nice to have
– 4 to 5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, quality or supply chain operations;
– Experience with working in quality management system
– Experience with packaging and cold chain
– Experience with ERP tools (preferably Oracle);
– Very good with reporting tools (Power BI, Oracle BI, MS Excel, SQL, MS Access, SmartSolve, etc.);

Main Responsibilities
– Maximize service level by ensuring use of validated packaging, as per latest innovations for the entire EU L&D region;
– Support the learning curve for the European Logistics department, working with data from the various software systems (customer complaints, product non-conformances and internal process issues) and the QMS (procedures, forms and work instructions). You will also work on processing these inputs yourself into the QMS systems;
– Drive improvements, related to customer satisfaction, overall logistics performance or cost reductions, mainly focused on packaging and reverse logistics;
– Maintain compliance with ISO, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, FDA Guidelines.
– Daily coordination and processing of all tasks related to supporting and maintaining a high level of execution towards our customers, from a quality perspective;
– Work with 3PL partners within the EU, with regards to being compliant to quality systems;
– Work with the organization and its 3PL partners within the EU, to ensure use of compliant packaging;
– Attend periodic update meetings with customer service departments, driving improvement/sustainment of service levels;
– Track and manage all in- and outbound delivery issues for the local teams at the 3PL warehouse(s) and drive improvements with the data;
– Assess and further setup the reverse flow of product, coming from customers, other DC, and service teams, back into available inventory. If product does not comply to requirements, you would work to ensure correct and timely scrapping of these products;
– Ensure timely and correct reporting of 3PL performance, in relation to quality and packaging;
