Their R&D (Research and Development) team are continuously improving their lenses to enhance their darkness, fade back speed, colour and indoor clarity.

Key Responsibilities for this R&D job in Galway, Ireland
? Carry out analytical physical testing on ophthalmic lenses
? Carry out chemical analytical testing on chemical components and formulations
? Validate new test methods, participate in the process of implementing these procedures into routine laboratory testing
? Provide training to production laboratory personnel at all of their location.
? Interpret, document and communicate test results
? Maintain effective records of work completed
Key Requirements for this R&D job (formulation, analytical chemistry, analytical testing) job based in Galway)
? Third level qualification in Chemistry or Analytical Sciences
? Previous experience in a similar role.
? Knowledge of operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
? An interest in new text method development
? Knowledge of quality control systems
? Strong team player
? Drive for results
? Customer Focus
? Building strong working relationships (interpersonal savvy)
? Analytical experience in a Product Development (R&D) environment
? Knowledge of laboratory data management systems
? Green or black belt in six sigma methodology.
