We are a leading manufacturer of high end analytical instrumentation to a wide range of industrial sectors with our Headquarters in Shannon, Co. Clare. Our family of products are found across a wide range of industries where our clients wish to analyse the gases they produce which in turn are supplied to a myriad of industries.

Our main sectors are to the high purity gas sectors such as found in the semiconductor gases, bulk gases, lighting gases, medical gases, iron and steel, Hydrogen Energy, refinery and petrochemicals to name but a few.

We provide solutions based around the science of Gas Chromatography which enables us to provide low level detection of impurities found in gases. Our Clients include but are not limited to Samsung, Hyundai, LG, BASF, Air Liquide, Linde, Messer, Air Products and many other names that are synonymous in their markets right across the globe. Due to the ever increasing wish to be better, we are constantly evolving and work closely with clients to provide them with solutions that meet their needs and customer service is key We are looking to increase our R & D department working closely with our Technical Director and Head of R & D.

This is an exciting position that will offer challenges and interesting work for the suitable candidate. Kindly find below our requirements for the position open now: This is full time position based in Shannon, with renumeration relative to the experience and knowledge of the candidate.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Level 8 Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2+ years relevant experience, product development experience beneficial.
  • PCB design tools, schematic capture and PCB layout ,experience with Proteus Design Suite preferred.
  • Analog and Mixed-Signal board-level design.
  • Exposure to programming languages and tools C, C++ ,etc.
  • Comfortable working with microprocessors and programming same.
  • Working knowledge of communication protocols and data buses such as SPI , I2C, TCP/IP, Modbus, RS-232,RS-485.
  • Familiarity with GUI design tools beneficial.
  • Good diagnostic and hardware/software debug skills.
  • Ability to apply failure analysis skills to determine and document root cause failures.
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards and EC directives.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
  • Good organisational, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent in soldering techniques, prototype building.
  • Technical customer support experience beneficial, experience supporting live systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing remediation plans.
  • The ability to take responsibility and be accountable for the delivery of agreed objectives.
