Roof Maintenance Technician Job Summary/Goals Roof management, repair and maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• PMs on all roofs tracked in Maximo to include inspection, clean and repair of roof membrane, parapet, penetrations.
• PMs for gulley inspections
• Access control – inspect roof access and patrol weekly.
• Issuing of roof permits.
• Roof works – check/photograph roof condition prior to any works taking place and inspect roofs during and after works for damage.
• Roof maintenance, CM repairs and damage reporting and tracking on Maximo
• Monthly reporting to management
• Available to be on call as required for emergency repairs.
• Manages and maintain tools and equipment.
• A stock of consumables for repair work will be held on site and managed by the roofer. Skills
• Excellent Client relationship and self-starter skill
• Skilled in industrial roof maintenance
• Skilled in parapet and cladding repair and maintenance
• Ability to own maintenance program and carry out works in isolation.
• Excellent computer skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, Windows, Maintenance software (Maximo)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to make decisions and take necessary actions.
• Good analytical skills and ability to think logically in order to problem solve. Evaluate information from problem solving activities.
• Experience of working in a multi skilled team environment Experience and Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in installing, maintaining and repairing TPO roof systems
• Knowledge and experience of roof maintenance, management, tools and techniques.
