Senior Finance Analyst (Joint Reconstruction Sourcing Coe) – Contracting 12 months
Our client, a pharmaceutical company in Cork is currently looking to recruit an Senior Finance Analyst for their site for 12 months. This role will be operating within the Global Supply Chain Finance department, reporting to: Joint Reconstruction Sourcing Coe Team Lead

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Inventory reporting & Accounting
  • Support month end process for GSC Management Accounting to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Monthly inventory reconciliations
  • Preparation of month-end P&L and B/S reconciliations and schedules, eg PPV, FAA, Write offs, SLOB
  • Calculation and analysis of GMED and Ireland quarterly E&O reserves
  • Accounting for Instruments
  • Calculation of DSI for the company in Ireland
  • Liaising with WW Finance business partners on Inventory related matters
  • Drive improvements and lean culture. Challenge established norms and processes to deliver tangible benefits in scope of control, predictability, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Take ownership to ensure accounting and reporting procedures and practices are fully compliant with SOX and internal control guidelines
  • Become a valued member of the Finance team, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Business Partnering:
  • Primary Business Partner with GMED ensuring full understanding of key drivers of their financials and working with them to ensure business commitments are met and often exceeded
  • Build relationships with global Plan Senior Leadership & functional heads, and support them to drive sustainable inventory reductions
  • Create value for the Global Ortho Plan function by developing strategies with business partners to improve efficiencies and deliver business plan targets, with a particular focus on the Joints business
  • Drive financial accountability, ensuring that the financial implications of operational decisions are considered

Business Plan And Forecasts
  • Accurate, timely, and complete financial forecasts, reports, submissions & analytics for WW Joints Inventory (Gross, Net) and associated reserves
  • Ensure alignment & transparency between P&L and Balance Sheet assumptions relating to inventory items
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
  • Big 4 qualified accountant
  • 3+ years of relevant multinational experience
  • Supply chain finance experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record in multi cultural business partnering
