Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

• Location: Galway

Our client who is a leading medical device company based in Galway is looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Leading continuous improvement (CI) projects and actively support developing a Lean culture through example and practice.
• Leading GROWTTH® events, (TQM, Kaizens, VSM, A3, 5S, 3P etc) and systemising the output.
• Train, support, and coach all staff in Lean systems thinking, culture, behaviours & methodologies.
• Working, with teams across the company, to deliver Year-on-Year saving through excellent project execution.
• Marketing the GROWTTH® program across the company
• Support to bringing the client to a level where it is recognised as a COE for Lean.
• Ensuring that “Sustainability” is a theme at the forefront of every project and task.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable background in Continuous Improvement with a minimum of 3yrs experience leading in a ‘Lean’ role.
• Will have attained a Green or Black belt in lean systems.
• Engineering Degree/Masters (preference for TQM/Lean)
• Engaging and energetic personality, capable of bring people together to form strong productive teams.
• Have command of the subject and be able to represent the client as GROWTTH representative within the wider company group.
