Senior Machine Vision Engineer

Are you an experienced Machine Vison Engineer looking to join a leader in the medical device industry, who has made its home here in Galway? Do you take pride in your leadership skills, ability to deliver objectives and your experience in providing a structured framework? If so, take a look at this fantastic opportunity!

You will:

• Lead and oversee your team of vision engineers with the goal of delivering business objectives, develop the team and promote innovation.
• Collaborate across functions and teams to identify and resolves issues at both a technical and organizational level.
• Develop, validate, and deploy computer vision data flows using open-source tools and proprietary tools such as Vision-Pro, Insight, Keyence XG, and MVTech.
• Ensure compliance with Equipment Engineering procedures and ensure best machine vision practices.
• Motivate, guide and train staff to achieve career goals as well as team goals.

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related field.
• Over 6 years in Software Development of Vision Systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Cognex Vision Pro, MVTec Halcon or LabView Vision
• Previous people management experience

How to Stand Out:

• Experience with Cognex Insight and Keyence vision systems
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Experience with Cognex VIDi
