Senior Application Analyst – ERP

My multinational healthcare client based in the Midlands, is looking for a Senior Applications Analyst overseeing the software management of the enterprise applications deployed across the business.  This role can be worked on a hybrid basis.

Overview of the Post

Senior Application Analyst SAP ByDesign oversees the software management lifecycle for all enterprise and critical applications deployed across international facilities.

• Provide technical expertise in SAP Business ByDesign covering system modules;
• Financials and Management Accounting,
• Employee Self Service,
• Logistics and Inventory Management,
• Purchasing Management,
• Supply Chain Management,
• Sales Management, Sourcing,
• Project Management,
• Cashflow Management,
• Business Performance Management,
• Communication and Information Exchange, Compliance,
• Reporting, and Product Technology

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, document, highlight and escalate issues related to all SAP Business ByDesign modules.
• Manage detailed configuration & testing of the system to meet functional business requirements.
• Responsible for the testing and delivery of the system based on functional business requirements.
• Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training.
• Scoping and Configuration of SAP ByDesign modules
• Integration EDI along with knowledge of debugging, batch jobs and idoc/output processing.
• End User training & manual documentation
• Blueprinting and business requirement gathering
• Data Migration
• Working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applications.
• Reviewing business processes to determine how they can be improved through the use of technology.
• Performing quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 – 7 years’ experience implementing, supporting, and/or training on Enterprise Resource Planning SAP ByDesign
• Familiarity with Enterprise applications and procedures to ensure the SAP By Design meets organizational needs and goals.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering field
• Experience in SAP ByDesign support (see modules above)
• Experience in SAP ByDesign data migration, interface development, testing, workshops, and training activities for end users
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate – Advanced level Excel skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good project planning skills
• Off hours support may be required. The frequency varies based upon business needs
