Title: Site Learning Coordinator
Our client, a leading Multinational company in the Medical Device sector is currently recruiting a Site Learning Coordinator for their site in Galway. The overall objective of the role is to develop and implement training programs that support the company objectives and meet regulations according to the company?s quality management system, coordinate Product Training and Induction Training.
? Coordinates and implements the Training Strategy.
? Manage New Hire Training Logs and Assessments
? Assign relevant training for all employees
? Update Training Matrix
? Provides Systems Training to all relevant team members
? Provides Functional and GDP training and deploys competency based training across the business.
? Facilitates the training and development of all employees on site
? Develops and promotes a culture of compliance, development and continuous improvement at all levels.
? Undertakes Business Training Needs Analysis, develops and maintains a training course schedule emerging from the training needs analysis.
? Oversight of Learning Coordinators and Training Delivery at site level to agreed standards, working in close collaboration with Business leaders, HR, Quality, and business Learning Coordinators.
? Ownership for business compliance training reporting and metrics and ensuring they are reported in the appropriate manner.
? Participates in audit preparation meetings and ensures that all requirements and requests are planned and met.
? Represents the business at audits for ?all? training activity on site where required.
? Develops strategies and tools to assess the effectiveness of training design and delivery.
? Tracks analysis-reporting of training metrics.
? Responsible for the effective delivery of local and corporate training programs (including but not limited to On-the-job, classroom, read and understand, Compliance, one to one and electronic delivery).
? Manages the Learning Coordinators team to ensure compliance with the training process.
? Carry out any other duties that are required by the business
Education and Experience:
? Qualification in relevant technical discipline and at least two years? experience working in Medical Devices or similar regulatory environment.
? Understands and has detailed knowledge of the training process.
? Detailed understanding of the training related requirements to satisfy global Quality Policies/Guidelines for training and external regulators. Proven track record in training design/delivery.
? Ideally have experience delivering change initiatives and facilitating change in a customer focused organisation.
? Ability to think innovatively and not be constrained by current practices
? Requires a demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve training gaps and to engage key stakeholders in the execution.
? Ability to project manage and ensure completion of the problem required.
? Ability to build relationships, promote training, share best practice and solve problems
? Experience in Quality Management Systems.
? A proven record of change management, industry awareness, needs analysis, feedback and coaching skills is preferred.
? Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
? Effective communicator, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through influencing others.
? Demonstrated ability to maintain positive people relationships and build strong links with all departments.
? Self-starter, possesses flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
? Positive attitude, team player with a high level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm.
? Excellent organisation, facilitator and presentation skills.
? Strong technical writing skills.
