TA Specialist 

Our client is recruiting for a TA Specialist to join their team in the Galway office. This role is commutable from Clare and Mayo.  The Talent Acquisition Executive will directly support the Director of Human Resources in driving business growth and transformation pace through day-to-day support including sourcing suitable candidates, implementing the company recruitment process and the entire recruitment lifecycle. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Source suitable candidates to fulfil all vacant positions within the business
  • Assist Senior Management with the recruitment and selection process;
  • Responsible for all process steps after hiring decision for an employee has been taken.
  • Consider staffing logistics and contribute to space planning.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most suitable candidates.
  • Manage on-boarding – manage the overall administration of a new employee’s induction
  • Preparation of job specifications in conjunction with Management
  • Arrange and coordinate candidate interviews in person and virtually
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the company recruitment process and policy.
  • Manage adequate timelines and expectations for management for new appointments
  • Maintain and manage a full applicant tracking system
  • Conduct thorough reference checks on all candidates
  • Provide a positive experience for all candidates
  • Deliver the brand within the company branding guidelines
  • Provide interview feedback to all candidates
  • Reduce the overall cost of the recruitment process with initiative ideas in sourcing suitable candidates

  • A good understanding of the Data Protection Act
  • Excellent and accurate data entry skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ambitious, Collaborative team member with excellent attention to detail
  • Passion for continued learning and personal development
  • Possess a positive attitude and possess a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated, proactive, flexible and reliable
