Our Client a $17+ billion dollar life sciences global business are looking to attract a highly ambitious, driven and agile Talent Acquisition Leader to join their Team. Leading a team of 8-9 Recruiters to support hiring for their R&D, Software, Process Development, Design and QARA engineering functions across 8 sites in Ireland & 4 in UK. The successful candidate will lead the team in driving initiatives to support Candidate Generation, Sourcing, Recruitment Marketing, Operational Excellence Process Improvements, while being a Strategic Partner to the Business and building on the Employer Brand.
Key Responsibilities
 As part of the recruiting team for the Ireland/UK region you will lead a functionally focused team within the region. This role will be responsible for the day to day operations of the functional team which includes the identification, selection, development and engagement of recruiters.  The primary focus is building and leading a team that delivers an exceptional client experience through results and credibility, while enabling future organizational growth.
- Build and lead a highly effective and customer-facing team of TA professionals who are business knowledgeable, talent market experts, client-focused and ensure consistency in recruitment strategy/practices across the Ireland/UK region in alignment with the Global Talent Acquisition Strategy.  
- Lead the team responsible for identifying, evaluating, selecting and leveraging the most productive recruitment channels/tools to identify, attract, and recruit the best talent within the region.
- Enable a team of recruiters to thrive, lead by example and manage, mentor, coach and develop their performance.
- Building partnerships as a strategic talent advisor with business leaders, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and diverse recruitment sources while maintaining excellent relationships across TA. 
- Responsible for monitoring, reporting and driving the talent acquisition metrics and performance (Example: time to accept, time to present, Diversity) and analyzing trends to identify and solve potential issues before they become issues.
- Lead key TA projects in the region and/or participate in global TA projects.
- Continuous improvement: refine and increase the quality of search delivery, recruitment experience and the diversity of slates.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, employment trends affecting the recruitment function and current employment legislation and policies.
- Align regional processes and global processes, drive best practice standardization, promote accountability of metrics, and ensure team is meeting recruitment goals.
- Prepare, communicate, and educate the organization on recruiting resources / systems / procedures.
Education & Experience:
- Degree accredited with 10+ years experience in Talent Acquisition ideally in a matrix style fast paced dynamic environment.
- Significant leadership experience direct people management, recruiting leadership experience required.
- Proven experience managing and leading (remote) teams with a strong focus on operational excellence
- Demonstrated performance with coaching and developing teams to consistently deliver excellent results
- Proven ability to deliver excellence in customer relations and building strong and influential relationships at Manager and Senior Manager levels within an organization; problem solving and proactive service orientation
- Track record in change and transformation – drive programs, lead people through change and meet deliverables in a complex environment
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
