Our client, a medical device company in Limerick are currently looking to recruit a Training Specialist for their site Limerick.
Support the continuous improvement of the Learning Management System to meet the changing needs of the business.
Administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and coordination of all projects to update to the system as required.
Apply project management principles, processes and tools to ensure on time delivery of training projects and clear communication with all stakeholders involved
Monitor and support all departments in meeting site training goals and provide regular updates to Directors and Managers on their teams? performance.
Coordination of TNA across the site and delivery of training interventions to address any identified gaps.
Monitor and seek to improve systems to evaluate the effectiveness of training to ensure that the company are in line with industry best practice.
Ensure that all training is carried out in accordance with ISO13485 and FDA requirements.
Support the development of training and development strategies with supervisors, managers and directors by considering immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
Assist in audit readiness and audit queries and follow-ups as required.
Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
Help managers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
Have an understanding of e-learning techniques and implementing e-learning strategies.
Support the design, development and implementation of innovative training programmes that help to meet any skills gap identified through training needs assessment.
Relevant qualification in Training and Development, Quality or Project Management
Minimum of five years? experience in a similar Training, Quality or Project Management role
Strong project management, problem-solving and process improvement skills and experience.
Proven track record in leading diverse (Cultural and Geographical) project teams with stretch targets and delivering to tight timelines
Ability to communicate effectively on an individual and group basis. This is a hands-on role and the training officer will be expected to deliver training material to new and existing employees.
Excellent knowledge of computer software packages.
In the role of Training Specialist, you will play a hands on role in the effective coordination and delivery of training projects/programs across the site.
