QA Validation Manager

HERO Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Validation Manager to join our client’s growing team in Donegal. Reporting to the Quality Director you will have the opportunity to work on the latest technology guiding a team of innovative and creative engineers working to make an impact on the health and well-being of those with Diabetes in our communities.

This is the ideal opportunity for a candidate with strong technical skills and leadership aspirations.

Responsibilities:

• Working with and developing a high performing team
• Responsibility of implementing Quality objectives and ensuring short term and long-term quality goals are met.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide quality systems and policy compliance to worldwide regulatory requirements including, FDA QSRs, ISO13485 and IVDD.
• Working with the team to ensure validation and qualification activities of processes, methods, software and equipment comply with internal requirements and applicable regulations and  
• Review product quality and process data using statistical techniques to identify trends and implement improvement plans accordingly.
• Develop key quality metrics/indicators to track performance and compliance and investigate data to develop and implement improvements.
• Ensure that product design changes are transferred into manufacturing according to policies and procedures.
• Promote Continuous Improvement within the department using tools such as Performance Excellence review and Growth Plans.

Education and Experience:

• Relevant third level qualification in Engineering/Manufacturing/Science is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in Engineering/Manufacturing or Scientific areas with validation experience is essential.
• Must have a minimum of 1 years supervisory role.
• Strong logical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (written and oral), presentation skill required
• Experience of Manufacturing Execution Systems is desirable
• Experience of manufacturing Database is desirable
