Field Services Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing of precision measuring equipment is looking for a field service engineer to support the countrywide field service team. The role covers installation, service, repair and calibration of our clients precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• To install Precision Measuring Equipment to the required standard.
• To service and calibrate Precision Measuring Equipment to the required standards.
• To undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis, and rectification of faults.
• To complete all service records (paper or computer based) accurately and on time to the required standard.
• To ensure correct procedures are followed when undertaking assigned tasks.
• To communicate efficiently at all levels and ensure effective and proper use of resources.
• To develop technical skills as required to improve range, flexibility and efficiency of duties performed.
• To assist in the development of departmental procedures.
• Ensure that the department comply with export control procedures.
• Complete assigned training tasks as requested.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by your line manager.
