**Job Title:** Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Galway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the manufacturing engineering team, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise and lead the manufacturing engineering team to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate with other departments, including production, quality, and maintenance, to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all manufacturing activities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase productivity.
- Prepare and manage budgets for the manufacturing engineering department.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technologies.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
