Responsibilities

• Lead Production Areas: Oversee assigned production areas, fostering a positive team environment.
• Supervise and Mentor Team: Manage a team of up to 4 Group Leaders and approximately 60 Production Operators, providing guidance and support. Implement effective cross training and job rotation for Production Operators.
• Staffing and Budget Management: Ensure production areas are adequately staffed according to capacity planning and maintain labor costs within budget.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements are met, addressing issues promptly.
• Quality and GMP Standards: Ensure compliance with quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, addressing issues promptly.
• 5S and Housekeeping: Maintain compliance with 5S and good housekeeping practices.
• Interviewing and Selection: Participate in the recruitment process for new and existing employees.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage and support the submission and implementation of continuous improvement ideas from all team members.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience as a Group Leader or equivalent role is required.
• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Self-Direction: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Interdepartmental Communication: Effective communication skills across all departments and organizational levels.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional meetings and teams.
