Purpose

Our Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) teams play a pivotal role in delivering resilient, sustainable, and high-performance mission-critical facilities worldwide. We ensure that all projects meet the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards, guaranteeing operational readiness at handover.

As a Global Senior Technical Manager – QA/QC, you will lead our quality management strategy, ensuring projects are executed with precision, consistency, and compliance. With your expertise in quality systems, inspection protocols, and risk mitigation, you will drive a culture of excellence across global projects. You will also have extensive experience managing high-performing teams to achieve predictable, high-quality outcomes.

Experience in a matrix organization and working across global regions (EMEA, APAC, AMER) is preferred.

Role Description

Quality Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a global QA/QC strategy for mission-critical projects.
  • Ensure standardization of quality processes across all regions to minimize risk and improve predictability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in QA/QC for mission-critical mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
  • Align project quality frameworks with internal best practices and industry standards (ISO 9001, ASME, NFPA, etc.).
  • Define scope and execution plans, ensuring clear expectations for quality delivery.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective action plans (CAPA) for quality-related issues.

Inspection, Testing & Compliance

  • Oversee quality control from installation to commissioning and final handover.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with regulatory, client, and internal quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality inspection and audit plans (ITPs, FATs, SATs, etc.).
  • Manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for critical equipment.
  • Implement Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA) processes.
  • Establish and monitor construction quality KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Lead walkdowns, punch listing, and system acceptance in collaboration with commissioning teams.

Process Optimization & Risk Management

  • Develop and implement Lean quality management principles, reducing inefficiencies and improving defect resolution.
  • Establish a data-driven approach to monitor quality trends and prevent recurring issues.
  • Plan and execute quality risk assessments across all project phases.
  • Optimize QA/QC workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.

Stakeholder & Documentation Management

  • Ensure all QA/QC documentation (method statements, ITPs, test records, certifications) is meticulously managed.
  • Work closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to enforce quality expectations.
  • Conduct training programs to upskill teams on best QA/QC practices.
  • Lead quality audits and compliance reviews, ensuring full traceability of quality records.

Interpersonal & Leadership Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
  • Client-focused mindset with a proven track record in stakeholder management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-driven attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills (English required; additional languages beneficial).
  • Commercially astute with the ability to build and maintain relationships under project pressures.
  • Ability to mentor and develop teams, fostering a culture of quality excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, automation or related field).
  • 10+ years of experience in practical direct MEP Commissioning/Commissioning Management experience (Electrical, Mechanical, Control System, Building Service)
  • Trade background (electrical/mechanical) with extensive delivery experience specifically in MEP commissioning/ commissioning management (10+ years)..
  • Strong knowledge of international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, NFPA, SMACNA, etc.).
  • Experience in data centers, power, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Expertise in quality auditing, inspection planning, and non-conformance management.
