Position Summary
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced CapEX Planner Scheduler to join a world-class biopharmaceutical leader at our state-of-the-art facility in Limerick. This role is key to driving the planning and execution of multiple capital projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, operational efficiency, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning and control for capital projects within IOPS, managing all stages from engineering to GMP production readiness.
Create and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy, resource balancing, and deadline achievement.
Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Level 3-5 schedules, and implement effective reporting tools for project insights.
Engage cross-functional teams to gather input, drive collaboration, and ensure transparent project communication.
Analyse contractor schedules and integrate multiple inputs into a master schedule for complex capital investments.
Apply Critical Path Method (CPM) techniques to forecast risks and manage project timelines.
Lead schedule risk assessments and maintain the Project Risk Register.
Chair weekly planning meetings and facilitate planning workshops to align stakeholders and drive execution.
Deliver real-time schedule tracking and updates via earned value analysis, S-curves, and dashboards in PowerPoint and other reporting formats.
Establish and monitor KPIs for continuous improvement in planning performance.
Champion compliance with all cGxP (e.g. GMP, GDP) and safety protocols.
Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning across IOPS.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience in lieu).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or capital projects environment.
Expert-level proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences.
