A leading biopharmaceutical company is seeking a talented Validation Engineer to join their high-performing team in Carlow, Ireland. The Validation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all equipment, systems, and processes meet regulatory compliance standards and function as intended. Working cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams, the successful candidate will lead and execute validation activities across the site in alignment with GMP, FDA, and EU regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and execute Validation Protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for equipment, facilities, utilities, and processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver validation projects on time and in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

  • Generate and maintain validation documentation in accordance with site procedures and regulatory expectations.

  • Support investigations and non-conformance reports related to validation issues.

  • Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring validation readiness and robust documentation.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise validation processes and enhance product quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical or biotechnology.

  • Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and EU validation regulations and guidelines.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-focused setting.
