Health & Safety Officer
A leading construction and modular delivery specialist, focused on quality, safety, and innovation, is looking for a proactive and committed Health & Safety Officer to join their Dublin-based team. - Ensure compliance with current health & safety legislation across active sites
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Support project teams in implementing and maintaining the site-specific Safety Statement and Method Statements
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site personnel and subcontractors
- Investigate and report any incidents or near misses, recommending preventive actions
- Maintain health & safety documentation and support continuous improvement
- Assist with induction training for new employees and subcontractors
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry
- Relevant H&S qualification (e.g., Higher Cert/Diploma in Health & Safety or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites if required
