Quantity Surveyor – Modular Construction (3+ Years’ Experience)

• Location: Gort, Co. Galway (Modular Facility)

• Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

• Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 DOE

A leading and fast-growing company in the off-site construction sector is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its factory-based team in Gort. Specialising in high-spec modular solutions for data centres, life sciences, and commercial projects, the organisation offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a key member of the commercial team, you will work closely with the production, design, and project delivery teams to ensure the efficient and profitable execution of modular projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project costs from pre-contract through to final account

• Liaise with design, factory, and site teams to ensure accurate cost planning

• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and lead procurement activities

• Prepare monthly valuations and cost reports

• Identify and manage project risks

• Ensure contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle

• Support continuous improvement in commercial and production processes

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Economics

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within modular, off-site, or general construction

• Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail

• Excellent negotiation and client communication skills

• Proficiency in cost reporting and contract management
