An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Development Manager to play a key role in driving this growth and strengthening the company’s position within the renewable energy market.

Role Summary

This position is ideally suited to a commercially focused professional who enjoys generating new opportunities and developing long-term client partnerships. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s customer base, securing new projects, and promoting renewable energy and electrical solutions to clients within the construction and engineering sectors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within renewable energy and electrical contracting markets
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and commercial clients
  • Create and execute sales strategies that support the company’s growth in renewable energy solutions
  • Carry out site visits and participate in technical discussions alongside engineering and project teams
  • Collaborate closely with estimating and delivery teams to ensure accurate tenders and smooth project transitions
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to enhance market presence

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales or business development, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or engineering
  • Strong new-business focus with the ability to develop and convert a sales pipeline
  • Comfortable engaging with technical products and explaining complex solutions clearly
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel.
