HR Business Partner

Life Sciences | North Dublin | Permanent

Are you a commercially minded HR professional ready to step into a high-impact role at one of the world's leading life sciences organisations? This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing HR team that's genuinely committed to delivering an outstanding employee experience — and to making a meaningful difference in healthcare.

As HR Business Partner, you'll sit at the heart of operations, working directly with business leaders to shape culture, drive engagement, and deliver end-to-end HR excellence across a dynamic, growing site.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders, delivering hands-on HR support across talent management, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and compensation & benefits.
  • Design and lead employee engagement initiatives, leadership development programmes, and site-wide HR strategies that move the needle.
  • Guide the business on employment legislation, HR policy, and compliance — keeping the organisation ahead of local, national, and corporate requirements.
  • Lead ER investigations and performance management processes with confidence and care, acting as a skilled mediator when it matters most.
  • Analyse HR metrics and people data to inform decisions and contribute to wider business priorities.
  • Partner seamlessly with specialist HR functions — Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and HR Service Delivery — to deliver a joined-up, best-in-class service.

What You'll Bring

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Studies, or a related discipline — CIPD membership is a strong advantage.
  • 5–6+ years' experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist, with depth in at least one additional HR specialism.
  • A proven track record in employee relations and leadership development, with the credibility to influence and advise at all levels.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills — you're as comfortable presenting data to a leadership team as you are handling a sensitive ER matter.
  • Genuine passion for people and a growth mindset — you thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Why This Role?

This is more than a standard HRBP position. You'll have real scope to shape how HR is delivered at a critical site, with the backing of a global organisation that invests in its people. If you're looking for a role where your work genuinely matters — to employees, to leaders, and to the business — this is it.
