Energy & Sustainability Manager | County Mayo | Permanent

Our leading regulated manufacturing client, based in County Mayo, is seeking an experienced Energy & Sustainability Manager to join their Quality, Safety & Environmental team.

This is a key strategic role, leading the site's sustainability and environmental agenda in partnership with plant leadership, from driving ISO 14001/50001/14068 compliance and decarbonisation initiatives, to managing energy, water, and waste performance across the full operation.

The Role

• Lead continuous improvement of the site's Environmental Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14068, AWS)
• Develop and execute the site's annual sustainability strategy and energy/environmental programs
• Drive decarbonisation initiatives toward Zero Carbon Emissions, including renewable energy adoption and scope 3 reductions
• Own energy, water, and waste performance, monitoring, analysis, and reporting
• Lead a water management roadmap, including CAPEX planning and reduction initiatives
• Deliver environmental training and act as primary advisor on energy/environmental matters
• Represent the site within the global Environment Network, shaping local and global policy

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• 7+ years' experience in Environment/Sustainability, ideally in a fast-paced industrial setting
• Working knowledge of energy audits, metering, renewable energy, and micro-grid systems
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
