Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join a dynamic Systems Engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to deploy applications in production, coordinate incident response, and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure. As a senior team member, you will also mentor engineers, develop technical skills, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Expertise and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or similar roles.

• Experience deploying applications in production environments.

• Experience planning and coordinating upgrades and patches for on-prem infrastructure.

• Ability to identify opportunities to develop and improve automation processes.

• Experience creating and maintaining non-production and production environments on Windows/Linux.

• Experience with trading order management systems and FIX protocol is a plus.

• Expertise in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins is a plus.

• Understanding of networking infrastructure and protocols is a plus.

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, and shell scripting.

• Experience with certificate lifecycle management.

• Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, EKS, etc.) is a plus.

• Ability to coordinate timely resolution of problem tickets, incidents, and security findings.

• Willingness to support on-call duties, including weekends.

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

• Understanding of trading lifecycles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain production applications and infrastructure.

• Coordinate incident response with engineering and business teams.

• Maintain and support on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain automation processes and CI/CD pipelines.

• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.

• Monitor systems performance using logging and monitoring tools.

• Participate in upgrade and patch planning for infrastructure and applications.

• Support on-call rotations and ensure timely resolution of incidents and tickets.
