Senior Electronics Engineer – Medical Devices | Limerick

Join a world-leading medical device innovator in Limerick as a Senior Electronics Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of healthcare technology.

In this role, you’ll drive hardware design and development from concept to implementation — designing complex analog and digital circuitry, PCB assemblies, and power systems (AC/DC, DC/DC, 3-phase AC). You’ll also lead EMC and compliance testing (UL, IEC, FDA, CE/EMC) to ensure world-class product quality and safety.

Working closely with software, mechanical, and systems teams, you’ll contribute to embedded firmware development (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN) and collaborate on the integration of sensors, motor drivers, and other peripherals.

What you’ll bring:

• Level 8 Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field

• 5+ years’ experience in electronic hardware design and testing

• Strong background in analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and EMC testing

• Experience with power management systems and embedded firmware

• Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical

• Familiarity with FMEA, validation, and international compliance standards
