Engineering Lead / Technical Lead
We’re seeking an experienced Engineering / Technical Services Lead to oversee the operation and maintenance of a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is a key leadership role ensuring building systems, cleanroom environments, and critical utilities operate to the highest GMP and regulatory standards, supporting uninterrupted production of essential healthcare products.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead all hard services and facility maintenance activities across HVAC, cleanroom, and critical utility systems to ensure maximum uptime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies and manage response plans for equipment or system failures.
• Oversee vendor management, ensuring all external services comply with pharmaceutical quality and safety standards.
• Drive regulatory compliance through detailed documentation, system qualification, and audit readiness (FDA, EMA, HPRA).
• Manage budgets and support capital improvement projects for facility infrastructure upgrades.
  Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team, promoting safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to align maintenance activities with manufacturing priorities.
  

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering (or related technical discipline).
• 7+ years of experience in facility or maintenance management within pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device manufacturing.
• 5+ years in a leadership capacity managing technical teams in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, cleanroom operations (ISO 14644), and critical utilities.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and BMS/BAS systems.
• Preferred: CMRP, PMP, or HVAC/refrigeration certifications.

• Proven leadership and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to compliance and documentation accuracy.
