About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Reliability Engineer to join a leading team in the Cardiac Ablation Solutions space. The team is developing next-generation medical technologies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. These innovations improve quality of life for millions of patients globally by advancing the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and enabling clinicians to deliver superior outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced reliability engineer to apply their expertise in a highly regulated industry while contributing to life-saving technology.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with R&D to develop test methods and ensure readiness for Test Method Validation (TMV).

Validate TMVs in line with required procedures and standards.

Work with quality core team members to deliver day-to-day project deliverables.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure robust quality standards.

Conduct systematic reliability analysis using techniques such as fault tree analysis, failure trending, and reliability forecasting to assess product and process robustness.

Apply risk management principles in line with FDA, ISO 14971:2019, and ISO 13485:2016 requirements.

Lead strategies for test method validations, design verification, and shelf-life protocols/reports.

Skills & Experience

Level 8 Degree in Engineering (or relevant discipline) with 7+ years’ relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years’ experience.

Strong understanding of reliability engineering tools and practices across requirements, design, integration, verification, and validation.

Background in a highly regulated industry, ideally medical devices.

Ability to solve complex issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Proven experience working within matrix organizations and navigating regulatory standards.

Knowledge of project management principles is an advantage.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Strong critical thinking, with focus on improving system performance and delivering measurable business impact.
